Christians, United States: China

by James Jett

Christianity is growing in China with help from the government, this is what I heard at 4:am on BBC over NPR radio. BBC said the government paid twenty percent of the cost to build a church and feel that Christians bring stability to the community, or maybe they said, more stability to the country–it was four o’clock in the morning. Not only is China helping the Christians build churches, but leave the Christians to run the religious programs without other contact or supervision.

If this is true, China’s tolerant of Christians exceed that of the United States, we, Christians receive no support from the government and I hope we never need or expect aid from the government, just respect, leaving us to worship without anyone stopping us because we practice our faith. Yet, that occur more each day as tolerant for Christians decrease in the United States. Tolerant for Christians decrease, as Christian fear increase. Christians should make sure their action is right and legal and yield to no one. Personally I pray in secret, but will praise God any where.

Christians living in fear is disturbing , fear is a safety factor, a gift from God to man, that often time is the reason for being alive, but fear should be controlled.

This Fox News article confirm my believe http://www.foxnews.com/world/2011/01/20/christianity-china/.

Reviewing  today’s news, you will think that the United States and Egypt oppose Christians and China embrace Christians because they make a more stable community.  Chinese Christians and none-Christians, in the US, are welcome and businesses, colleges and Think-tanks invite them to come to this country because they bring educational skills required to get this country up and running again. Mr. Gates, the Very rich owner of Microsoft want more than are presently allowed.

In the Protestant church my grandchildren attend, one floor is a Chinese church. they worship in a separate church until they can speak English. Membership over three hundred and increasing yearly, reinforce my thinking, that Chinese will become the greatest-race in the US in the near future.

Christians Boycott: If Needed

by James Jett

The Tea party are mostly Christians, but most Christians are not members of the Tea Party, as least, not a declared member. Future growth for the Tea Party is possible, reaching numbers that could be the deciding factor in any State-wide election. Many of the people, like me, are independent, and have been all my voting life, and a Christian. Not many Tea Party members are Atheist, but I believe more none-Christians are in the Tea party, out numbering Atheist and other religions. (I could be wrong) Membership should increase as the tea party continue to educate the voters about the failure to keep promises made when running for political office, is the reason so many voters are looking elsewhere for candidate to vote for in state and national elections.

Voters, especially Black voters, may vote for a tea party candidate before they would vote for a republican. yes, that is right, because saying a candidate is a tea-party candidate predict a better result once elected. Member with middle-class income, blacks and Whites feel that the democrat and republican parties are own by the lobbyist. Twenty to thirty-five percent of black voters will vote for tea-party candidates if they maintain the same goals and purposes . You need proof? look at the votes in predominate blacks-neighborhoods in states like Ohio and California on culture and drugs. With fifteen percent of  black voters willing to vote for tea-party-candidates, added to the present committed votes, you could boycott, picket or vote for anyone you please. Wheeling the same type of pressure, as the unions and other special interest groups.

The last election proved that the Tea Party can make improvements in politics Now, education, communities and small businesses are the next concern. The free enterprise system can never give jobs for everyone unless some one start a  business. And starting a business in Lawn care. repair shops, parts stores and the much-needed computer, refrigerator and stove repair. Personally I believe you have an advantage if you learn to repair products, including computers and printers. before you start selling them in your business. (coming from experience) And you can start a joint venture with an exiting business that is well-known in the community.

When the Tea Party playing a role  and showing concern in education, business and training this nation will begin to progress. If the Tea Party ignore these three, we will know the tea party  will mimic the Democratic and Republican parties, pass laws and not enforced them, invite a foreign force to do work, the US are unwilling to pay citizens to do and sell their services to the lobbyists.

Votes and support for the Tea Party will grow, when voters  take part by participating in the planning and implementing, leaving integrating,  socializing and partying to each person. Integration, at best, is the plan of the detractors, those who believe success is reserve for their kind, and only their kind. It is probably a plan hatched by some college professor hell-bent on delaying the progress for low-income families, particularly  blacks. Integration mean you’ re present without any training, skills or education, just present, so the group can claim that they invite all races to meetings and other gathering. Participation means you are taking a part in the discussions, planning and implementing that result in benefits for everyone in the group. For these reasons, the government should not required integration

The government should pass laws that prohibit anyone from stopping, threaten or harassing anyone living, working and going in business, with people of a different race, religion or national origin. With any automatic find and jail time for anyone violating the law.

Trinity United Church of Christ Program

by James Jett

The current President of the United States, President Obama, have nothing to do with my publishing my visit to the church where Rev. Wright was the Pastor then. I wrote the post to start a conversation about Christians and crime in the community. The posts have everything to do with Christians and nothing to do with  President Obama.  That’s incorrect, time I finished typing the President’s name I know it was incorrect, because  if the President would address the crime problems in the neighborhood, once each month crime would decrease in this country. It would be helpful, but it is not needed. ” We the people” can take care of all community problems.

This is the church program, pass-out, on the sunday I visited the church

Christians Out: Sins IN

by James Jett
Stained glass at St John the Baptist's Anglica...

Convinced that a large segment of the population want us to violate every sin listed in the bible. Engage in sex in the street like dogs, Invade churches and make demand when the church publish it stand against sins. Some are planning violence if intimidation fails. Their goal is to get (Christian, not religion) out of the United States, for ever. I have monitored the last forty years and noticed that the incidents are increasing.

An example, in a businessmen club, we meet at noon every Thursday. If you arrive late from the office due to traffic and get to the meeting, on time, but last. The President will greet you by name and ask you to bless the food. About thirty years ago, I walked in the door and asked to bless the food. At the end of the blessing, I said “in Jesus name”. Yes, I was aware that others blessed the food by starting with “Lord bless this food “——and not, “in Jesus name”, at the end, no problem.

After the meeting I walked out the room and a lawyer was waiting, (also a member) and he said, as I looked at him looking at me, “I want to ask you a question” I said “yes” and he said “why do you always say JESUS when you bless the food, it is insulting to me. I looked at him and asked, “do you believe in God? He answer”yes” or maybe he said “of course” I said “you serve your God the way that please you, and I will serve my God to please Him.”This is not unusual behavior: Christians can not pray in public even if they are in the park assembly for fellowship. Some people question your right to wear a Cross on your Lapel. And it is very easy to find your self in a group and be asked to leave if you quote the Bible or said Lord or Jesus.

Is this the beginning of prosecution? Ask your Church Leaders or read the Bible to get the answer you are please with. For me, the answer is yes, and it will grow increasingly until we take action to stop it. How can we stop it? With the power we process as Christians, the power of pray, the power to assembly with contact via the internet, With the power of money, “the total income of American church-goers is $5.2 trillion” (That’s more than five thousand billion dollars) “it would take just a little over 1 percent of the income of American Christians to lift the poorest one billion people in the world out of extreme poverty”. (I Google it)

In meeting, some say Christians are too meek to take action, maybe true, but let me tell you what I believe. Meekness is power under control: Jesus Christ was Meek, yet he control the sea, sickness everything. Other say we (Christians) are afraid: fear is a safety factor a gift from God to men, that often time is his reason for being alive. But fear should be controlled. God did not give me a spirit of fear!

The Right to Use Bullshit

by James Jett

In conversations in the pass, when someone say something incorrect or have no benefit in the discussion, I would answer Bullshit. Meaning your words have nothing to do with the conversation we are having presently. Many times, someone in the group will take issue with the word, and tell me that intelligent people know better retorts.

The word was never used loosely, just when I would need an answer to better understand the speaker and instead of answering my question they utter more bullshit.  Like all words, the word cause change in the meeting, people become more exact in the statements and answers and the people and the organization reaped the benefits. The need to use the word decreased and “stop dodging the question” will get the discussion by on track. And I feel good about that, although I only used the word twice in my life, I only needed to think it, and the meeting provided a better understand.

Years later,   justification came when a Professor (I don’t  remember her name) was on TV promoting her book and she said the word, talked about how a man in Germany or England had asked her to debate him because he argue that the Holocaust did not occur and she said she refused to debate that Bullshit. (I agree) She said she talked with another Professor, a man, and he told her to use the word when it applies. And oh-by-the-way the book was selling well, but she had already promised all proceeds would go to the college.

Bull-shit: The American Heritage Dictionary: B.S.  1.foolish, insolent talk, nonsense v.

When I listen to the politics  to-day and media trying to get the answer they prefer, not the answer the person give, its make me wonder, is this helpful or just bull-shit?

Bill O”Reilly rebutted Spike Lee when Mr. Lee said that violent crime in America is the worst in the world, by sighting the eight years stats. For two-day, I search the media to  hear anyone questioning Mr. Tavis Smiley who said that Christian kill people everyday, implying  that the death ratio is the same between Christians and Muslim. Geraldo interview Tavis, but asked him nothing about that statement. It seem people can come on TV and make statement and no one will challenge them if the statement is untrue. unless you are listening to The O’Reilly Factor, on at 8pm, weekdays here in Shaker Heights, Ohio.

My conclusion, it’s a lot of bull-shit

My Comments on Christians, Behaviors

by James Jett

You are a nice person, in fact, a kind person: because you thanked me for my thoughts. Personally, I crave kindness, and when I receive it I applaud it.

I would never tell you to do any thing, suddenly not attempt to influence your thoughts and believe. My intentions were to respond to your opened-post, not to disagree or agree with you.

You say it is convenient for me to believe in God. It is not convenient for me to disagree with you, but I must, because it is not true. I believe in God because I control my will, and I will to believe in the God that made everything I can see, feel, hear, taste or smell, and the things that are not visible or audible to me. I choose to believe, no one on earth or in the earth can make me believe. My belief, is my-own-freewill!

Your reply to my comment, seem to assume that I was talking to you, yes that is true, but only to the extent that you are apart of the human race. Verily, I was talking to the hold world. I was answering the sign at the top of your post that said “THERE’S PROBABLY NO GOD. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life” because, since you were on the Internet, I could talk to all mankind and it would be there for all to read as long as they have access to the Internet. An opportunity to comment, I just could not pass up. Why did I feel the urge, the need or compelled to respond? Because you did not ask me, you posted it on your blog, I read it and my thoughts came to me, here you can tell the world that you are a Christian and everybody that know me know that I am a Christian and will be till the end of time. Firing squads, Hangman-noose or angry mob surrounding the house could not make me a denier, by saying that I am not a Christian. No one is required to read your blog. All including me click on it with their own freewill. It’s your blog, you published the content you wished to publish, anyone disagreeing could so state, anyone agreeing could make that known also.

I was responding to your post, not you, just your post it was an opportunity to exercise an equal right to comment on something I disagreed with, not a person or thing, but a statement and I believe that the statement was untrue. Totally aware that just because I deemed the statement  untrue doe not prove it is, in fact, untrue. The urge to respond was the word PROBABLY, a red flag of doubt to me and an open invitation to put in my two-cent worth. Under normal daily encounters I do not tell a person or people in my presence that I am a Christian unless they ask me. People should know I am a Christian by being in my presence for a short time. Because I should model my life as a Christian by the way, I act in the presence of other human beings. My core values should tell others that I am a Christian. Let me be clear and careful here, and emphasize that I am not talking about a type of church nor a denomination, I am talking about my beliefs and behavior as a human being. Thoughts and actions that I control all day, every day, ok (all almost every day). Actions that I control, how I talk about the facts recorded in the Bible with Baby Christians, meaning people on the milk of the Word, not the meat of the word. Baby Christians are best, in a setting where they can learn when discussing the Holy Bible, not in a debate with an unbeliever. For instance, I don’t support many things that the churches are adopting, these days, because I feel the church is slowly drifting away from what the Bible tells Christians to do and how we should treat each other. The best example, we should love one-another. Do this first and the rest will be easy. The Pastor at a church in Alabama said “the church is a Haven for sinners, not a hotel for the saved” Today, in some Churches sinners are not welcome. Those who disagree should read your Bible, if you fail to see it in the Bible, leave me a comment and I will give you the locations where you can find the same meaning. Better yet, ask your Bible teacher or your Pastor.
